Shannon has a demonstrated history of managing accounting processes, improving controls and strengthening financial systems for clients in non-profit and social purpose organizations.

Meet Shannon, our vibrant Consultant who is mom to two teens and a rescue dog, Gemma. Shannon grew up on the Sunshine Coast in BC and now makes her home in Port Moody.

With an accounting background in socially-conscious private industries, and diverse experience in finance, she’s passionate about supporting non-profits and Indigenous organizations. Shannon’s journey from Financial Crisis to Financial Strength at the BC Crisis Centre aligns with her role at Humanity, where she enjoys the variety and challenges of the financial systems work we undertake for our clients.
Outside work, Shannon is an outdoor enthusiast, TORCA board member, and a globetrotter who’s helped build schools in Guatemala. Her adventurous, eco-conscious spirit perfectly complements Humanity’s ethos.

I know that the financial work we are doing and the approach we are taking will have lasting effects for our clients and will help communities in the long run.
