Lissa’s public-practice experience combines international training, Big Four audit expertise, and a values-aligned approach to delivering high-quality, purpose-driven services.
Originally from Brazil, Lissa began her professional journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, then completed her MBA studies in the United States. She launched her accounting career at KPMG Brazil before relocating to Vancouver, Canada, where she earned a diploma in Accounting and later joined Deloitte Vancouver. At Deloitte, Lissa served as a Senior Accountant, auditing a diverse portfolio of for-profit and non-profit organizations. During this time, she obtained her CPA designation and further developed her expertise in financial reporting and assurance.
Inspired by Humanity Financial’s purpose-driven mission, collaborative spirit, and values-based culture, Lissa is dedicated to delivering meaningful services that create lasting impact for clients and the communities they serve. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring nature through hiking.
